Marketing and Sales Channels

1. Open the Marketing Tab

Open a machine from your inventory and go to the Marketing tab in the machine details overview. Here, you can manage the machine’s sales information and choose which channels to publish it on.

2. Manage Sales Information

In the Marketing tab, you can manage the following information:

  • Sales locations – Set where the machine is available for sale.

  • Sales contacts – Manage the contact details for interested buyers.

  • Sales price – Set the machine’s selling price.

  • Rental prices – Set rental pricing, if applicable.

  • Machine description – Add or edit the description used to present the machine to potential buyers.

You can also manage the machine’s location, contact details and general selling information under the Sales tab.

3. Manage Sales Channels

The Sales Channels section contains Machineric and external sales channels connected to your account.

To publish a machine on a specific channel, toggle on the correct channel. Make sure the machine has the required information for that channel before publishing.

4. Add an Alternative Listing

Sometimes, you may need to create an additional listing for the same machine. For example, a sales channel such as Blocket may not allow you to republish a machine using the same ID, or you may want to advertise the same machine more than once with different prices.

To create an alternative listing:

  1. Click Add listing.

  2. Choose the sales channel for the new listing.

  3. Configure the listing as needed for that channel.

This allows you to create a separate listing when your sales or advertising setup requires it.

5. View and Monitor Published Ads

The Sales Channels view gives you an overview of your published ads across connected sales channels.

At the top of the dashboard, you can see key statistics, including:

  • Listings – The number of listings.

  • Published – The number of successfully published ads.

  • Error – The number of listings with errors.

  • In progress – The number of listings still being processed.

  • Total views – The total views across your ads.

  • Total leads – The total leads generated by your ads.

You can filter the view just like in the Inventory dashboard, customise the displayed columns and switch to full grid view.

Understand Listing Status

Each listing has a status bar beneath the machine image. The bar indicates the status of the ad on the relevant sales channel.

  • Green – The ad has been published successfully, and everything is working as expected.

  • Yellow – The ad is still being processed or uploaded. This is usually temporary. Check the status message for more details if needed.

  • Red – An error has occurred and requires attention. Check the status message to understand what needs to be corrected.

Ideally, the status bar beneath each machine image should be fully green. If you see yellow, allow some time for the process to finish. If you see red, review the error message and resolve the issue to ensure the ad can be published successfully. If you are unable to solve the issue on your own, get in touch with Machineric support.
